25 years of Valentines

Twenty-five years ago Howard and I celebrated our first Valentine's Day - separately! He was at seminary in southern Manitoba and I was in northern Alberta teaching school. I had sent him oodles of cards in the weeks leading up to the big day, but that didn't help a whole lot with how much I was missing him!
It was he who reminded me yesterday morning that this was our 25th Valentine's celebration together. I would say, without a doubt, that he's the more romantic one of the two of us!
Even so, we are still very much in love and are enjoying some of the best years of our married life. He is such a blessing to me every single day.
