Vienna

Vienna is a grand city. We enjoyed it so much. The people are friendly and several went out of their way to help us find our way. These are a few pictures of the core of the city. The Stephansdom is right in the center.
If you look carefully at the left side of this church you will see that it's actually covered with a piece of fabric (a very LARGE piece of fabric!) that duplicates exactly what is underneath. We have seen this done several times on different buildings when they are working on the covered area. It's very clever.

Notice the price on this teacup! That's about Cdn $575.

A wood carving on a door.

Thoroughly enjoying your Vienna pics...since Arlin visited that city so frequently last year and was so fond of it!
