Weed killer

We live in an old house with an old yard and VERY old weeds! They are well-grounded...rooted...established. You get the picture. Anyway, last summer my mom gave me a recipe for a weed killer that works amazingly well. The weeds I killed with it last year have not reappeared. As you can see, now I need to get busy on the driveway.
Here's the recipe:
4 cups vinegar
1/4 cup salt
2 tsp dish detergent
Mix it up and put it in a spray bottle and off you go. Do not use it in the grass because it will kill the grass too!

This is GREAT! I'll have to make a mental note of this for when I get a sidewalk or driveway with weeds. ;D
