They're on the March (no pun intended...)

This is a sure sign of Spring. Do you know what it is? It's a frog fence. Apparently there is a high level of frog migration in this area where these fences are (on both sides of the road) so when these fences go up, we know that we need to watch out for defiant frogs who manage to jump the fence in an attempt to escape across the highway to their, do I dare say, doom.
We've actually seen people out with buckets on rainy nights, walking along the fences looking for those insubordinate little beasts. It's a real community concern.

There are signs warning us motorists of the possible danger that lies ahead...! I'd like to say that this means "frogs wandering" but really it's "frog migration".
