An optical illusion

A few years ago this sculpture was strategically placed on the corner of a very busy street in the small city where we often shop. It's hard to tell, but it's actually concave. It's amazing how it catches the light from all angles and appears to be convex. I have wanted to take a picture of this sculpture for a long time and today it worked out just right as we were driving by.
