We shared the beach with this grandpa and his precious little granddaughter. They were having a great time in the sand and water. After he had removed several of her wet layers, he told us that he had been told "don't get her wet!". We all had a good chuckle about that.
This is a one-lane road which required some rather quick reactions when suddenly an oncoming car was in "our" lane!
