The White Cliffs of Dover

Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamed of seeing the White Cliffs of Dover. So for me, one of the highlights of our trip to England came right at the very beginning. They are a stunning sight and can be seen not long after you leave France.

That's Dover Castle in the background. It was literally a little too "steep" for our pocketbooks, but still well worth a picture or two. You can see the tunnel doors in the wall from the tunnels that run under the castle.
On our last day in England, we had a lovely hike along the top of the cliffs.

A French invader! In the last picture is a dandelion, on the french side of coast. Check the word origin-means tooth of the lion. I loved the pictures. Other people-if you aren't enlarging the photos on your screens you could be missing a lot of detail.
